   I must say that i absolutely agree with you, if western live style is degraded or bad then why not pack your bags and hit home. Or why not go to some of these Islamic countries, O wait we know how the Afghan refugees are treated in Saudi Arabia, gulf countries, Iran and Pakistan. Indeed what I find amazing about Dr Younos is that on one of his shows he preached for afghan ladies to wear Hajib while his own wife is not wearing Hajib. Dam Hypocrite!!! I guess these days it has become a fashion to badmouth west and anything associate with western culture even the good democracy and freedom.

   We are fortunate to live in this extra ordinary circumstances what I call it Islamic Renausance. There is enormous challenges facing other nations and Islam in particular. This is an age of globalization where the powrfull is moving forward and trying to deprive
   cieties and villages.We see the reflection in Global economic meltdown.
   We Afghans are relocated to United States of America because of the political circumstance. I very well remember when my cousons got their doctorate degrees from US in early 1970s.And as a child asked them why not live in the united states and come back to Afghanistan. He said ” No amount of money or material world will buy my free spirit, and conscious”. I respect Farid’s openion as a psychologist. However regarding Islamic sharia or Juresprudence he is niether an Islamic scholar nor has command of Arabic Language. My point is to leave and ask related questions from expets in that area and learn more about our religion our culture and other culture.We need to use our valuable times effectively. I hope success and happiness for all our Afghan brother and sisters.

   mr. Alaron I think you are discussing the issue very shortly and do not think at its background and do not concern deeply.
   by the way from my opinion Dr.Farid Younas is absolutely right , while i say absolutely right it means Iam just agree with his statement about the westrn democracy , He is right that westurn democracy is not designed for the Islamic world and especially for the country Afghanistan.
   first in islamic countries we have islamic rules , islamic traditions and not the traditions what you hear in the media about it and especially from anti islam figures. in Islam every action is described by its proper rules and should be protected from any type of extreamism .
   but in westurn democracy we see many tthings are in its extreame limit, for example : the freedom of speach in USA , Europe has exceeded none limited point, they do and say whatever they feel and whatever they want but in islamic countries you should be much focus on what you say and do not harm others from your sayings and actions. but here you can harm a religious sect by making fan of them and not respecting them . its extreamism.
   beyond this in every islamic or none islamic country there are different cultures and people’s ethics are based on its culture and traditions they choose to adjust its democratic side to be balanced with its cultures and traditions so they cant just be forced to accept they european or american democracy.
   I think its what mr.farid mean but i didnt read his book yet i heard him on tv .
